Mawsons of Lancaster was established in 1942 and has been in the Mawson family ever since. Graham and Andrea came to us because they realised that they needed a new website. Their old one was out of date and it wasn’t responsive. Having previously gone by the name ‘The Curtain Gallery’, the family also wanted to put Mawsons back at the forefront of the business.
We designed a simple, elegant site for them to show off their brands and the ranges that they have. We arranged for a photographer to take some good pictures of the inside and exterior of the shop which Graham and Andrea can now use across their marketing as well as the website.
The site has been technically optimised using YOAST SEO so that it will be found on Google for the right search terms, and the copy has been carefully written by us to ensure that it’s not only useful, but also that it is good for Search, too.
We have tweaked the Mawsons logo to refresh it and added a palette of contemporary colours. The site is fully responsive and works perfectly on mobile.
“Mark & Heather at Urban Attic have been a joy to work with for the design of our new website. It’s not our field at all and they made the entire process stress free and have produced a website that looks great and is very informative as a reference point for new and existing customers. They even arranged a photographer on a weekend who was also fantastic to work with. Nothing was too much trouble and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.”
